This policy describes how Emicraft Tech Solutions Limited (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Sealify at sealifypdf.com and the editor at app.sealifypdf.com. It is not legal advice.
1. Who we are
Sealify is operated by Emicraft Tech Solutions Limited. Questions about this policy: contact@emicrafttech.com.
2. Short summary
- PDF files: Stamping runs in your browser. We do not receive your PDF for processing, storage, or review.
- Without an account: You can use the core tool with limits tracked in your browser (not tied to an account on our servers).
- With an account: We store account and usage data (e.g. email, export counts, saved stamp designs, team membership) so limits, libraries, and billing work.
- Analytics: We may use Google Analytics on the marketing site and app when configured, to understand traffic — not the contents of your PDFs.
3. PDF documents
When you open a PDF in Sealify, the file is read and processed on your device. The stamped file is generated locally and downloaded by you. We do not operate a service that uploads your PDF to our servers for stamping.
We do not use your PDF content for training, advertising profiling, or human review.
4. Accounts and sign-in
Optional accounts are provided by Clerk. If you sign in, Clerk processes authentication data (such as email and session identifiers) under their privacy policy. We receive the information needed to link your Sealify account (e.g. Clerk user ID and email).
5. Data we store on our servers
If you create an account or use paid features, we may store:
- Account details (email, plan, team association)
- Export usage (counts and time windows) to enforce free and paid limits
- Stamp designs you choose to save (e.g. company name, colours, style) — including team library stamps for Team plans
- Team membership and invite metadata
- Subscription and payment-related records from Paystack (we do not store full card numbers; payment processing is handled by Paystack)
This data is held in our application database (hosted infrastructure such as MongoDB Atlas and Vercel). It does not include the binary content of PDFs you stamp.
6. Analytics and cookies
The marketing site and app may load Google Analytics (GA4) when a measurement ID is configured. That can include page views, approximate location, device/browser type, and similar usage metrics. IP anonymisation is enabled where supported in our configuration.
Clerk and our hosting providers set cookies or similar technologies needed for sign-in, security, and site operation.
7. Third-party services
We rely on service providers that process data on our behalf, including:
- Clerk (authentication)
- Paystack (payments for Team plans)
- Google Analytics (optional usage analytics)
- Hosting and database providers (e.g. Vercel, MongoDB Atlas)
Each provider has its own terms and privacy practices. We choose providers appropriate for a business software product but do not control their independent processing.
8. Retention and your choices
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable law allows.
Deleting your Clerk account may limit what we can identify; contact us if you need help removing Sealify-specific records.
9. Security
We use HTTPS for web traffic and industry-standard practices for hosted APIs and databases. No online service can guarantee perfect security; use Sealify on devices and networks you trust.
10. Children
Sealify is a business document tool not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
